Signing a waiver?

Another poster mentioned they had to sign a waiver to sail this week because of filming of a DVC video.

Just for the sake of argument.... what would happen if one refused to sign this waiver? I'm assuming no one was informed ahead of time that this filming would be happening, so this would make this Disney's problem, correct?

Did those who sailed while "According to Jim" was being filmed have to sign one too?

Ahhh... the things I think about while waiting for DH to finish work....

Hi Julie,

When we sailed last year, we were asked to sign a waiver if we wanted to appear in the video. Unfortuntaly, I don't think that my sister or I are actually in the video (and if we are, I wouldn't know as they were filming for the Spanish Tourist Video). I would assume that if you didn't sign the waiver, you wouldn't be in the video, although with the number of guests on board, I doubt it would matter either way.

I would love love love love love love to be in a Disney publication of some sort (my absolute dream is to be a voice of a Disney character, even if I only had one word!!!) Maybe some day my "dream" will come

Yes, we were on the 1/17/04 Western when they filmed According to Jim and we were asked to sign the waiver for everyone in our party, including children. During the sail away party a scene was being shot about Jim shoving Goofy off the stage. My husband and daughter just happened to be right behind Jim and Goofy for all 5 "takes". I'm sure they are in the shot (DH will be just behind the two of them wearing a yellow shirt) I hope he's not picking or scratching anything if he actually gets in the shot.
