Ok everyone I must be the most indecisive person when it comes to this!
DO you think that there is a signature dining spot that is nice w/ a baby?:yay: My husband loves a good steak, we both love seafood & mexican. :confused3I'm having the hardest time figuring this out. Most of our meals are character for our son or 1 credit meals. :goofy:WE have done all the shows in past years & loved them. This time I want to try sig dining but it has to be good food. Is it really worth the extra $? Or which do you like better for the $ a show or the signature? :earseek:

I'm pretty ure that you can go to almost any signature with a baby but it all depends on the baby. keep in mind that signautre meals average 1.5 hours and sometimes more if you other app, entree and desert. Also if you take a reservation pretty early evening (around 5:30 pm) I bet you will see many kids in those restaurants.

I agree with 3pletprincesses, it depends on the baby. With my older son as a baby, it would have been no problem:thumbsup2, with my youngest son, there was no way on this green earth that I could have taken him to a nice dinner:lmao:. If you are able to take the baby with you, I would make it for an early ressie, but have a back up plan in case it does not work out thus reducing stress on you. I hope you have a great time.:)

I also agree with this. My girlfriend and I mostly eat at signatures for dinner while in WDW. When we have ADR's earlier in the evening, like at 5:30, we expect there to be more kids and are not really bothered if they get cranky and whatnot. However, if we are eating at 8:30, we expect a quieter meal.

There are a couple of signatures that are louder by nature and are considered more "family friendly". Cali Grill and Flying Fish are both on the louder side where if your child has a bit of a temper tantrum, it won't make you feel embarassed or out of place(of course you should still try to remove the child from the restaurant and try to calm them down). On the other hand, restaurants like Artist Point and Jiko have a much quieter and romantic atmosphere, which may or may not make you feel uncomfortable if your baby gets cranky.

When it comes to the money issue and if a signature is worth the extra, in our opinion, it does. The cost, in some cases, is not rediculously that much more, but the quality of food at a signature opposed to most 1TS restaurants is night and day. And the only dinner show worth going to, IMO, is HDDR.
