Signature problem

For some reason, my signiture does not always appear when I post but seems ok when I test.

Anyone know why?

Take a look at the FAQ thread on the top of this forum. It is probably because your signature is actually too long.

Thanks for the input, but I am not sure that is the problem because sometimes it works just fine. I looked at the FAQ thread but I did not see anything pertaining to the length of signatures.

your family with smileys,
a ticker,
and a list of 3 trips.

Is that all you are supposed to have??

Is that really too much? I've seen many others with more and just thought it was ok. If not, then I will gladly delete it.

No. I just wanted to be sure that I was seeing all that you intend and it isn't being cut off. Our software will not allow you to exceed the limits, it will cut off the extra.

So if the problem is that you are not seeing your signature show up when you post that is probably an issue with your computer and how it is loading things. I know sometimes mine is slow to load signatures, and sometimes all I see are X where there should be pictures.

alyssa, you need to post on the Technical Support board, found at the bottom of the main forum list. Someone there should be able to help you out.

Thanks for your responses, lovetoscrap. I'll keep on eye on my signature. For now it seems to be responding again, so you could very well be right about my computer. Dang thing, it's only 3 1/2 years old.

I am just now coming here at the speed of light as opposed to the speed of snail that I have been at. My DH, aka my IT Dept, just spent several hours doing stuff to my computer, installing updates and fixes and removing a whole lot of the crap that internet sites put on and it has made a huge difference. It is amazing the amount of junk that websites put on your computer in just a quick visit. It just takes someone that knows what they are looking for and how to do it.
