Signature Dining

This is our first year on the DxDDP and I think I am going to change around our dining and do a TS lunch and some Signature dinners. Having never eaten at any of these, what is the typical dress like? I know I have seen some guests dressed nicely, however my kids really don't have a lot of dress clothes. Are nicer t-shirts and shorts ok? I am looking at Hollywood Brown Derby, we will already be in the park and Flying Fish, maybe Artist Point, not sure yet. Thanks!

The signature dress code is: no swimwear, no cutoff shorts, no torn clothing, no tee shirts with "offensive" slogans or graphics, and no hats or tank tops on men.

Anything else is not against the "code."

Park clothes within those parameters are allowed everywhere, especially Brown Derby as it is inside a park.

For brown derby, park clothes are okay, no need to dress up.
For the other signatures, nice shorts are okay, as are plain t-shirts. My DH usually wears jeans & a polo & I wear capris and a nice top - nothing fancy. So yes for your kids: nice shorts and a nice plain top are okay, for BD it doesn't matter.

For regular TS restaurants anything except swim wear type clothes are fine especially in the parks
