We have a deposit down, but now we're thinking we might cancel since we think the dates for DH's fall break has changed. Normally we wouldn't care if he missed a couple classes, but he'll be taking the 2nd part to his Hebrew class (he's in seminary) and that's way too difficult a class to skip out on. We may just cancel the whole thing and rebook for the correct dates if free dining is offered.

I was told when I booked the room that my DH had a pin attatched to his name. BUT when I called back to book another res( I was going to be cheap and downgrade from AKL to POP) she said I ad no pin attatched to our name

Here's what I think is really difficult about this whole situation: we have no idea what the CM is doing to check for pin codes.

If you get someone that's really good -- they will probably take the time to check under the names of all your family members, different phone numbers/email addresses, etc. Once they find the "magic formula", they don't usually tell you what it is. I think that's why people are getting told "no" when they call back to make additional reservations.

I feel the best thing to do is call and give them the confirmation number of your original reservation first, have the dates ready for another trip you know are within the guidelines of the promo, then ask if the same discount would apply to the second visit as well. If they say no again, just ask why the first trip qualified, but the second didn't. At that point, they would probably put you on hold, speak to a supervisor, then come back on the line and make the reservation for you.

Also, I think those of you with existing reservations shouldn't feel like you need to tip-toe around for fear someone will decide it was a mistake and snatch it away. We haven't seen any confirmation of anyone getting their reservation cancelled and I honestly feel the people that came on this board and reported such probably had a CM hint around that it might happen because it's what they wanted to hear.

My parents and my sister and my neice will be going August 12-18 staying at a value, but I'm not sure which one. She used the code also with no pin. And I posted about this last night, but she was able to move her reservations outside the dates and they still applied the 40% off.
