Sigma 70-200 f2.8 Macro on it's way!

I just ordered the sigma 70-200 non OS from adorama for $799 it includes Tiffin filters and lens cleaning kit. I think that's a good deal. I am nervous about not having OS. Hopefully I'll get for the weekend to try it out.

I'd love to hear your feedback. I've wanted one of these but alway get stuck thinking I need the OS. I'm not sure I want to pay for it OR carry it.

I have this lens except I have in-body stabilization. Just watch your shutter speeds and you will be fine. I love the lens and carry it often. I do use a BR strap attached to the tripod mount which balances the camera beautifully. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

When I bought my D5100 I really considered the Kr but I worried about the focus issue under tungsten light. Right now I do wish I had the In Body Stabilization, but I will try to work with what I have. Maybe I'll get it by Sat and get some weekend photos to post up. I will give a review asap. I am hoping the speed will make up for the lack of OS.
Next purchase = Monopod
