Sick Of The Ohio Winter Weather!

We leave for DW May 30 and this weather in Ohio is killing me, between the 20 inches of snow in a 24 hour period and then all the ice storms. we're going crazy. Love to hear how the other ohioians are dealing with it.

WE OFFICIALLY HATE IT!! It is supposed to be spring not sledding weather and ice skating..lol...We are so ready for it to be over with too!!

I'm with you! We're in Dayton, and between the snow storms, ice storms, and rain storms - I need some Disney sunshine!!!

I always said that my father had 48 states to pick from and he picked Ohio, I've just about had enough of this state and weather. I'm 59 years old and wasting the winter months waiting for good old warm weather to come back, it just seems that this winter was longer than any other. Might be a good time for a move and career change, Florida is always looking better and better every year.

I keep remembering how nice 70 will feel in June when Florida is 100!

After living in the secondary snowbelt for 13 winters, it's wearing on me a bit...

my friend is from ohio and she was down here in florida last week,and she texted her friends back home the current weather that we had. now shes back in ohio and missin the weather down here.

Me on the other hand i will be moving from nice florida weather to Milwaukee WI and i have never officially seen snow. My mother had a picture of me when i was a baby but i dont remember it. So i am nervous.

I know what you mean.20in of snow our way, and for a while no driveway or roads so we got stuck in our house(no fun). We are so tired of the snow and the rain and the cold we can't stand it. Of course we are spending time planing for the wonderful FLorida sun and our disney vacation..It just makes me want to get away from here more. just thinking spring

I'm not from Ohio, but Illinois. And although I don't think we've had quite as much snow/ice as you, we've had more than we've had in 25 years and we are sick of it here as well. Everytime we get a 50 degree day, the next day it is down to the 20's or 30's again and more snow. Theya re talking snow showers again tonight...no accumulation, but I'm sick of looking at the white stuff.

I'm sick of it here to...I am not from the US but Ontario Canada and we are getting the exact same thing...the weekend was nice then it snowed again yesturday morning and today we are supposed to get another 5 cm and then warm tomorrow and then snow on thursday...grrr.......just so sick and tired of it......
