Thank you for your thoughts! It has been crazy! It was hard but I had to think about them.

But even Hubby is now looking forward to the break. He said even if it is Disney, he is looking forward to just relaxing and eating and not having to worry about what airport has a broken kiosk.

18 days and counting. Still not working, tired of just sitting around. Have a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and hope he releases me then. I need to get back to working so I can get some more OT.

My son is getting whiney but school starts for him on Wednesday. My daughter has been back in school for a week and her teacher was really nice about her missing school while we are at Disney.

My mom is still thinking about coming and surprising my brother and his kids. So we will see what happens in the next 2 weeks.

Wow, I can't believe you had to have surgery this close to your trip!!

What did you decide about the water parks? I think with a 7 day trip, the water parks are a great way to break things up. Last year, we went to Blizzard Beach for the morning, then got a cab to take us to Animal Kingdom for EMH. It was totally spur of the moment, and ended up being one of our best evenings! We opted not to do the water parks this year because we only had 5 park days. My kids are sad, but they know we are going back next year, and that trip will definitely include some water park time.

The VIP tour sounds like it will be fun. I hope you can find it in the budget to still include it!

We just returned from our trip, and I am so sad to be home! I have to live vicariously through all of you now!

I know! I can't decide. I am actually sitting here trying to think of a way NOT to pay the bills to get all I want in this trip. HAHA. It is soooo sad. But being on disability is killing me. I mean, I do get an extra pay check this month because of the way the 2 weeks fall. :sad1: I don't want to give up any thing! I thought about blowing off the water parks this time and then just doing the VIP guide still, but the Water Parks are cheaper and easier to get away with. I just don't know what I will do yet.

But yeah, the surgery has taken me longer to bounce back from and I am starting to have some anxiety. I want to go back to work for the money, but it is still hurting to get up and down. Apparently, I have had this pain for about 4.5 years and it just got so bad that I just couldn't do it any more. I have been to the doctor several times over the last few years in regards to it and was diagnosed from anything from Endometrosis to a hernia. And finally, the surgeon in the ER said I had an Endometrioma. So they wisked me in to surgery and I was literally on the phone with Disney at the last minute. And I told the surgeon, you have to get me to Disney in 22 days! YOU HAVE TO! And he just smiled and patted my leg. "You will be fine"

UGH. I am not fine yet! :sad2: So with 17 days to go, the anxiety is kicking in. I am wondering if I made the right choice to have surgery and not just suck up the pain and get through the trip.

I go back into the doctor on Wednesday so I am hoping he will tell me I am right where I need to be and to just relax and put my feet up....while working. LOL I work on line and sit at a desk all day. So I can't imagine that he tells me I can't return to work.

I did talk to my brother the other night and they are really getting pumped. My husband checked the flights and he said they now have direct flights to Orlando from Albuquerque, which ROCKS for us! :woohoo:

So the count down is on. Last minute shopping to pick up some things. And the kids have started to get excited. :woohoo:
