SI2 Question: My Color Positive Film vs Creative Zone boosting color saturation.

Am trying to find out if these things are indeed the same thing. I like shooting in aperture mode something I have always done with my older Canon. I was wondering...if boosting the color saturation in the function mode while in aperture mode is like the Positive Film mode when the dial is turned to My Color mode
