As I usually rent a car...this is a first for me...

Which is best...Mears shuttle or Tiffany/Fl Tours limo service??
We will arrive in the evening...

Also how is the price difference? Any tips appreciated!!:D

Service: The towncar is better. Only your party will be in the car, so you won't be stopping for other folks at their resorts, or waiting for the other folks to fill up the shuttle before you leave the airport. Think of the shuttle like a small bus.

Price: The towncar is priced per trip, the shuttle per person. I've found that 3 passengers is about the break-even point. If you have 4 passengers, the towncar is probably cheaper. For two passengers, the shuttle is probably cheaper.

We (3 of us) usually use Tiffany Town Car. They are always waiting for us at baggage claim, and whisk up directly to our hotel.

I have used mears, rented a car and used a town car service, and a town car service is the way to go! I even used it when there were only 2 of us. The cost was higher than the shuttle, but is was so nice to have someone pick you up and take you to your resort, no hassles. I used Mears once and would not do it again, you wait for the shuttle and then they stop at several other resorts.
I rented a car the last time we went because we were going to Universal for the day, and with just two of us it was not cost effective to use a town car service when there was such great rates on rental cars.

We are former shuttle users who have become major towncar converts!
We used to take Mears because we didn't know any better, and we endured being stuffed into a van filled to capacity and then stopping at multiple hotels on the way to ours. But as we became more experienced, we learned about towncars. Even though it's just hubby and me, the convenience is well worth it. We use Happy Limo whenever we go to WDW and also on our Disney crusies. As a matter of fact, we just got back from a cruise today! We used Happy Limo for a weird combination of transfers because we needed to make a stop on the way to MCO from Port Canaveral, and as always they were great. In my opinion, a towncar is the only way to go!

I will keep my eyes open for car rental 'deals' but failing that...I think a limo looks our best bet! Arriving fairly late...I don't really fancy multiple stops on route to AKL.......

I appreciate your advice!
