Shuttle Launch from Vero on Saturday.

I believe the space shuttle is scheduled to launch on Saturday.

I'm not sure of the exact time. If you are at Vero, be sure to catch it from the beach or the lawn out back.

Maybe someone here knows what time it is scheduled to lift off.

At present STS-121 is scheduled to launch at 3:48PM EDT

DH and I have planned a wild and crazy trip down for this. We decided so late to do it there were no hotels available on the Space Coast, and for a while DVC on Sunday and Monday. Bless MS they found us studios at BWV! We had waitlisted for Studio Roulette, any studio anywhere and it worked out with just a few days notice.

We were down in July last year, and had paid $10 to park at the Holiday Inn in Titusville when my brother called us our cell telling us the mission was postponed. DH was not a happy camper and pouted for at least two hours. He's promised to keep it down to one hour this year if it doesn't launch.

We watched the shuttle launch from Typhoon Lagoon last July. Pretty cool!
