I found one recently and was in a hurry and can't read my handwriting:confused3. It was a shuttle from SNA to resorts/hotels nearby and it had a special DL rate of $8 each person each way.
Can anyone tell me what it is called??

No it wasn't that one. It was an odd one. I am going to comb these threads in hopes of trying to find it.
But thanks for the suggestion.

Not sure I've read of $8 per day.

The main ones are Disneyland Resort Express, SuperShuttle, and Karmel Shuttle. I have used all 3 (though not necessarily all to/from SNA...I'm including ONT and LAX in my experience) and I personally like Karmel the best.

I don't know, but I use SuperShuttle and a coupon code for $7 each way.

Yay! I found it... Discount Airport Shuttle.
$8 each person, each way(DL price). Sounds like a good thing...but you know if it sounds good...

Has anyone used them??

Where did you get your coupon? The rates I am seeing are pretty high.

You have to book online through their website. Use coupon code UYR59 and book each person separately for the full discount. Do not use zip code, use a hotel name when it asks for zip or hotel. I like to prepay the tip as well so I don't have to worry about having change for it when I go. They will automatically figure out the tip for you based on the tip percentage you request.

ETA: if you have a larger party, just take a taxi. It's about $45 plus tip and you don't have to do anything but walk over to the transportation area and go. No other parties so no other stops. If you're staying onsite, request a flat rate taxi voucher from Guest Services for the return trip and it will be $35 + tip.

I just tried a fare quote using the above code and it no longer worked for a shared van. I checked retailmenot and people were still using it yesterday, but it looks like it may not work any longer for SNA. Their regular fare is $10 each way pp.
You can use coupon code 23f3s for $2 off each way ($8 pp fare).

Thanks so much!! I have been reading some threads about different shuttles and I don't want to be waiting forever nor have to troll around looking for people to pick up once on the shuttle. AND I don't want to pay and arm and a leg to get a limo/car service. I am in a 'pickle' so to speak.

I like SuperShuttle. I've used them for multiple trips (~20). They aren't perfect, but they have been very reliable for me. Just use the second code above and it will be $8 each way. I went with a friend last month and she had a reservation for us to go back to the airport with a different shuttle company and they never showed up, so we ended up calling a taxi. A lot of people also recommend Karmel shuttle, and they have a coupon good for $4 off pp RT. I don't know what their rate is but here is the link for that and several other good coupons, including RFC and La Brea http://anaheimoc.org/coupons

ETA: I just did a fare quote for Karmel and it was $19 one way for one person! Yowza. Even with the discount that's pricey. I'll stick with supershuttle.

If you watch the pop-up ads on this website you'll find various specials.
There was one for shuttle service to and from the airports and DLR.

We've tried Super shuttle and were satisfied. But with the number in our group, it's either less expensive to take a taxi or even rent a car.

I agree. If there are 4 or more in your party, just take a taxi. Be careful renting a car because the parking fees sometimes take away any savings. I also found it cheap to rent the car but expensive once they added on things I didn't think I'd have to get, like ding insurance. Neither my cc nor my State Farm insurance cover that and the charge is high if someone opens their door on your rental. Since I don't drive anywhere when at DLR, I prefer not to have a car but if you're there for a longer stay, it can come in pretty handy.

I have found PrimeTime Shuttle to give good discounts also. Have never had them troll around the airport looking to fill the shared van. Sometimes it is 1 or 2 other couples and sometimes it's been just DH and I. Check their web site. They have always been reliable.
