Does anyone have a link to Photo package prices?

Or know the prices off hand?

It's been a few years since my last cruise, Just want to see what pricing is like now. :rolleyes1

Thanks!

It is $249 for the all inclusive that includes a CD. I don't remember the other pricing exactly, but we paid $20 each for 8x10 pics, which was considered 2 credits. Many of the pics are only offered in 8x10. We only took pics upon boarding, in the restaurants, and outside the restaurant and couldn't get pics any smaller. I think some of the character greets offer smaller pics, hence lower prices. Hope that helps a little, and I"m sure someone knows the details better than I do.

If I remember correctly, 20 credit package was $149; 50 credit package was $298; and the photo CD was $299.95.

This was on the 7-night Disney Wonder to Alaska.

Sorry to jump in with another question, but what happens on a b2b?
:confused3

Can I buy 20 credits at the start of the first cruise and use them through the second also?

Just got off the June 7-12 Dream 5-night. CD was $249, package with 40 credits was $250, 20 credits $150. The packages were half price ($125, $75 respectively) if you buy the CD first. One credit equals one 6x8, two credits equal one 8x10.

Hello All,
I am not understanding this? Why do you have to pay for extra credits if we purchase the CD. All the pictures are not included? About buying credits, is this on a CD or is this is an actual picture? Do they take pictures inside the kids clubs? How about during dinner?

Sorry for all the questions but this is my first Disney (ever). I want all the pictures that myself and my kids take. My plans were to purchase the CD. Now I am confused.

We are going on the 3 night cruise on December 8, 2011. I am just trying to get an idea of the price of the pictures. LOL, I don’t care about saving up for the excursions, just give me my pictures!

Yes, all photos are included on the CD, but without any borders. The printed photos you can also purchase (individually or using credits from a package) include character-related borders, Pirate Night-themed borders, etc.

They do not take pictures in the kids clubs--at least we didn't get any--but they did show up during dinner for photos a couple of nights, including Pirate Night.

Sooo, is this essentially like the "Photo Pass" at Disney World, where you get the CD and then login when you get home, add the borders etc. to your pics, upload the photos to the given website and they then send you a COMPLETED CD??? I LOVED that when we went in October and was hoping that the Dream would have something in similar when we sail in January.

I'm afraid not. You pick up the CD with all your photos (with no borders) on debarkation day. You're on your own after that with PhotoShop or your photo editing software of choice.

Shutters adds borders of their choosing to prints only, which you can purchase individually or part of a package before leaving the ship.

So, this is my first cruise where they are offering a CD to purchase. How many pictures do they take of you on the cruise? When we went on DCL 10 years ago, they only took 4-6 photos. I'm figuring for $299 they must be taking alot more than that? Will they allow you to take photos with your own camera of the characters, etc? Also, do they have any discounts for prepaying for the CD or for a photo package? We are going on the Alaska cruise and this picture thing has me perplexed :confused3

Once you purchase the CD, you get 1/2 off the listed price of the pictures with borders.

Also - If you purchase the the CD the last night you can pick up on debarkation day, if you purchase on debarkation day you are waiting 4-6 weeks for DCL to ship to you.

It is the guest who largely determines how many pictures they take. Aside from the embarkation photo or shots at dinner, the guests seek out the photo opportunities. If you don't care about getting your picture taken with characters, or at various photo ops on CC, or professional shots on semiformal or formal nights, then you may very well come out with 4-6 pics.

My family hunted a fair number of characters and took some other shots such as in front of the ship at CC, and got 81 pictures on the CD. I see posters on here who got north of 200. All cost the same with the CD.

The CD is not discounted, but as has been mentioned it will entitle you to 50% off any individual prints or photo packages for the remainder of the cruise.

And absolutely you can take pictures with your own camera. The CM character handlers will even do it for you if everyone wants to be in the shot.

Is the pricing for the packages (such as for the CD) less for 4-night cruises? Fewer photos on the CD, one 1 thing. We'd be interested in knowing.

Thanks!
