Has anyone been there recently? Looks like they discourage kids from going since they do not have a children's menu? I am on free dining and would love to go there. Does it require 2 TS?

It's not on the Disney Dining Plan.

It is not on the Disney Dining plan; no restaurants at the Swan/Dolphin are, because they are not Disney resorts. Also, it is business casual dress, because it is mainly a business person's resort.

I was "upgraded" several years ago, by a travel agent, from POR to the Dolphin. With the exception of the Buffeteria, everything was business casual dress. I was not Disney savvy back then.

There I was with t-shirts and shorts......I had to go to other resorts to eat.

If you are looking for a good steak dinner, do either the Yachtman's Club at The Yacht Club, or Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot. I know the latter is definately on the dining plan.

Is there a list anywhere of what restaurants are not included on the dining plan, they really make it difficult to choose.

allearsnet.com has a great link that takes you to each of the restaurants for each level of the dining plans. Remember, there are several different types of plans, so you need to know which plan you are on......they have it, so you can do a printer friendly form to carry around with you during the day as well. That always helps me out too.

Just remember, it only applies to Disney resorts and restaurants, so none of the DTD resorts will be on the plan either, in addition to the Swan/Dolphin.

What we are doing this year, is using two TS credits on one character breakfast and one character dinner. That frees us up for two nights to do restaurants at DTD.
