I read they will not accept Disney Gift Cards for payment? Is that correct?

Do they offer any AP or DVC discounts?

Dress Code: I am a fan of following the dress code. Without fail, I always see people at Narcoossee's in cut-offs, tank tops, etc and they are never turned away. Drives me nuts. I believe they are both considered signature? But....the reason I ask is we have some (older) people in our group who would like to wear their park attire (capris or jeans and their Disney shirt) to the restaurant. Will that be acceptable?

As far as the dress code this is what it says:

Guests are asked to adhere to the minimum dress code requirements at this Signature Dining experience. Dressier attire is also welcome. Please explore the minimum dress code requirements:

Men must wear khakis, slacks or dress shorts and collared shirts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition. Sport coats are optional.

Women must wear Capri pants, skirts, dresses or dress shorts. Jeans may be worn if in good condition.

Not permitted are tank tops, flip-flops, swimsuits, swimsuit cover-ups, hats for gentlemen, cut-offs, torn clothing and t-shirts with offensive language and/or graphics.

To the best of my knowledge none of the Swandolphin restaurants accept Disney gift cards as payment. Sorry, no idea if they offer a DVC or AP discount.

I've never seen anyone wearing clothing at the signatures that didn't meet the dress code minimum but that doesn't mean it has never happened. It's so simple I can't really understand how people have problems following it.

We were at Shula's a few weeks ago as it's a MUST DO restaurant anytime we're in town. We like to dress up but there was some people who were nicely dressed as well as other who were not as dressed up wearing jeans and neat t-shirts. I believe it's at the discretion of management but as long as it's neat, clean, and tidy I don't see management really having an issue with this. The only sort of discount available at Shula's is a Tables in Wonderland discount.

As the PP stated Tables in Wonderland is the only discount available at Shula's. If we go on a park day, my husband and I will wear nice shorts and shirts (he in a short-sleeve polo). We both wear decent athletic shoes. It does get chilly in there for us so we bring a zippered fleece jacket or sweater. If we go on a non-park day, have time to change, or when the weather is cooler, we will wear nice jeans and similar tops we wear with shorts. I will sometimes pack a casual dress to wear.

It happens a lot, unfortunately. I am surprised the signature restaurants do not enforce dress codes. Of course, as a whole, Disney is pretty lax on their own rules.

No gift cards is correct, and no discounts other than TIW is also correct. We were there in September and I wore a sun dress, DH wore khaki shorts and a polo shirt. We went right after HS closed (so after a day in the parks) and we were not out of place at all. Many others were dressed similarly, or in jeans, and a handful of guests were a little more dressed up than that.

The Swan Dolphin Restaurants currently accept TIW. They do NOT accept DDP, in any form.
This would include Shula's, Il Mulino, Blue Zoo....
