Right now I am doing all my ADR's for my DW and DD first trip in september:cool1:, and with us are also coming my mother and sister, and maybe my sister's boyfriend, a total party of 6, but there is a possibility that my sister's BF doesn't come with us, so do I need to change our ADR's when I know we are only going to be 5 or just show up at the restaurant like that.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks

Quillo

Just leave the reservations for 6. The only exceptions would be if you are booking any restaurant that requires a prepayment or has a penalty for a no-show. Those would include the two dinner shows, Cinderella's Royal Table and California Grill. There may be a few more; I'm thinking Akershus also has a cancellation fee but I'm not sure.

All of the others are fine to just show up one person short.

Personally I would leave the adrs as is. If you change them and he decides to go...it is more of an issue than if they show up with 1 less.

You won't have a problem getting in. The problems arise when you are trying to add people to a reservation, not subtract them. You may have to wait a bit longer if your table size changes. Pakey has pointed out to be careful with reservations that required a credit card hold and may charge you a no-show fee for the absent person. In those cases, you should call WDW-DINE and reduce your party size.

You won't have problems. I had that last trip because Dh work cancelled his vacation last minute and I honestly didn't think to cancel. I would simply tell them at the podium that we were only 4.

I agree with PP, cancel the extra seat at the restaurants with where you pay in advance or gave your cc number for garantee. you can wait up to 48 hours prior to meal time to cancel that seat.

Thanks a lot for your answers, we are not doing any meal that requires a CC confirmation, so we won't have that problem.

Thanks again:thumbsup2
