A few people have mentioned a craft thread so I thought I'd start one.

Please post pictures of anything you have made, finished or not, any craft, any subject, it's nice to see what other people have been up to.

I'm a bit of a flitter myself and have tried knitting, sewing, crochet, tatting, card making, scrapbooking - you mention it then I have probably spent money on equipment before getting bored!

At the moment I'm back on knitting.

Here are a couple of projects I have finished since Christmas

Looking forward to seeing your pictures. :)

wow, that cardigan is fantastic and I can't believe you've done it since Christmas. Knitting and crochet are 2 things that I just cannot do so I am very envious of your talents!

Wow the cardigan is great!!

I'm just trying to get to grips with knitting. I was trying to make a simple blanket for my sisters baby when she's born, but it is so much more difficult than I thought :scratchin so massive well done :thumbsup2

This was a cross stitch I completed of the church DH and I got married in , I even changed the clock to the time we were married

I have just finished sewing my first skirt, it's for my 2 year old niece, it is a mini version of a pattern I'm using for my MNSSHP costume , I thought I'd practice on a mini version before cutting the pattern for mine.

I also make nappy cakes for the Mummys2B in our family , and baby sock roses.

Wow, what talented ladies. Libby, did you knit your socks on 4 needles? It's years since I've knitted - the clacking of the needles drives the family mad! I just cross stitch now - much quieter.

Pam

The cardigan took about 2 months to knit - the socks 2 weeks (and yes on 4 needles).

How lovely to have a cross stitch pattern of the church you were married at. Did you design it yourself?

The nappy cake looks great - what does it contain?

I have to find some more photos, but here are a few of my creations to start of with:

No, I make them as gifts and those I made a proto-types for some jewellery making classes that I did for our DIS group on our Hawaii cruise.

No they are designed by a local artist and she does lots of Cornish landmarks , but for the life of me i cannot remember the website.

Loads of designs from the south west of the UK

It was for my sister in law and had about 100 nappies, wipes, cotton buds, dummies, hats , socks, and a bottle of bubbly in the middle to wet baby's head once she had arrived. The bottom tier was wrapped in a white crochet blanket , donated by my Nan ( i'm rubbish at knitting and crochet)

wow ladies....well done.
I am the practical one of the family. My mum is the artist and creative one, my sister is great at sewing, designing etc and I can tile a bathroom!!:rotfl:

I am a good cake maker if I say so myself and friends always tell me to enter the Great British Bake Off, but I hate pastry to make and eat!:)

Lovely makes. I'm not artistic at all but enjoyed seeing all your pics, look forward to more :)

Fantastic creations ladies :thumbsup2

Please can someone tell me how to post pics on this thread :rotfl2: I'm soooo behind the times with technology!!!! ;)

You need to upload the photos to a photo sharing site like Flickr or Photobucket and then select the image link.
