show times and seating question

Hi,
I apologize if this is a repeated question, but I couldn't find the answer anywhere. I've never been on Disney cruise (actually, on any cruise before), and I'm curious about seating time and show time. I'm planning on the 4 Day, and I'd like to take advantage of as much shore time as I can. Could I still make the early seating? Does the late seating affect whether I get to see the shows? I guess I'm really just trying to find out the times of the shows. It'll be just me and my fiance, so there aren't kids to worry about (leaving hers at home, heh heh heh).
thanks

Traditionally, early seating is 6pm, whereby you would attend the later show at 830...Conversely, the late seating dinner (which I recommend) is at 830, with early show at 630.......

You can still do your daily activities and still make early seating dinner...no problem....

Disney is different on shows. This was my 7th cruise, and yes, the early seating diners have their show after dinner. HOWEVER, unlike other cruise lines, the show for those with late seating dining is BEFORE dinner.
We missed Hercules because of this, our mistake for not studying the Navigator, BUT I hope it is something Disney changes. Now with the Golden Mickey's they did do a third show at 10:30 pm, that was great. Not only could you see the show late, but you could also go to your assigned earlier showing, then see the show a second time.
As I have posted lots of times here, if you have cruised before, one thing you will notice about Disney cruises is they are very different because they really are an "early to bed early to rise cruise". Except for New Year's Eve, the clubs were pretty empty after 11 pm, and normally that's when my wife and I just get ready to go dancing. That also may be why they don't have a nightly midnight buffet, just a late seafood buffet one night, and a dessert buffet a second night...and even those are early by normal cruise standards.

We just got back from the 4/10 Wonder 4-day. We did the late dinner at 8:30 so shows were at 6:30. We didn't do any excursions so don't know if you might miss early show. If this did happen, you could grab a bite and not go to seated dinner. I recommend that you do the late dinner seating. We have kids 10 and 13. I suspect that most of the small kids were at the earlier dinner seating. Might not bother you, but then again, if you think it would, go for late. Hope that helped. There are lots of adult only places on ship and they are usually not crowded. You'll have a great time!
