Show me your photopass Borders and add-ons!

OK i have a stupid question...

Say i get this photo pass CD for 106 bucks with tax... I bring it home after vacation and decide that i want to order some prints... how much are they to order them? And how long does it take to get them? I'm 19 and this is my first vacation that I'm going on without my family, and just with a friend, and i want to capture EVERYTHING HUMANLY POSSIBLE!!!!! But... with only being 19 and a college student, i don't want to waste my money on something i could take pictures of with my own camera!

Any help is SUPER appreciated!

You can take the CD to your local store...Anywhere. You will have the release form from Disney, so you can have it printed anywhere you choose.

After you purchase the CD the rights to the pics on the CD are yours. :thumbsup2 That is why the price is so high. Because you can take your CD anywhere you want to print whatever pics your want. You can take it to WalMart, WalGreen's, where ever you want and print them out at a kiosk in the store for as little as .19 each. Or if you have a good quality printer you can print them at home. IMHO its better to print them in the store because the quality is usually better and it is cheaper than using your printer ink. It is a good bargain if you get tons of pics with the PhotoPass people. Just stop everytime you see one and get a pic taken. Just you, Just your friend, you and your friend, just the castle, whatever! :goodvibes The options are endless. Then take take your photopass card(s) to a PhotoPass counter and have them add all kinds of stuff for you so you have a bunch of options with the same pic. I think this is a wonderful thing they have done for us photo freaks. :cloud9:

the CM went through the pics and added the appropriate border and autograph to the pictures. I didn't really get to choose so I don't know if you can or not.

I'm not sure if it was just because there was a huge line the night I bought the CD, but we never got a chance to add borders, etc. The CM never said anything about it, and I just assumed that you'd be able to do it from home with the CD. I really wish I'd gotten the chance to add them!

I heard there is a spot in DD to get the cd now does anyone know if that is true and if so where?

Will they Photographer take a picture of, say, just the castle or another Disney icon without you in it so that you can have a nice pic of the castle on your cd, or does someone have to be in the picture as well?

I love the photopass CD! We just got back and only spent one day in the MK and hopped to Epcot and took 75 photos and after all the borders and signatures/tink etc we had 150 photos on the CD...all for $95! We used our 10% DVC discount at DTD at the world of memories store (I think that's the name of it - it has all this scrapbooking supply stuff there.) and the CM put all the borders on for us. Made it easier and faster than if I'd done it myself. Very very happy with the photos and loved the character connection at Epcot - no lines at all and airconditioning - what more could we ask for!

When I was WDW for a short trip during Easter with DS (5), we didn't have enough time to get the photopass CD while we were there, so we didn't get to add the borders. After we got home, I looked at our photopass pics online.

We only had about 35 pics, but they were much better quality than the photos taken with my camera. They also had Tink, Stitch, and Simba on them. Very cute! So it was worth it to buy the CD even without the borders.

I did some cropping and editing, and sent them to snapfish for printing.

Here is the link, which I got from these boards:

I just got back last night and loved the photopass. We have some great pics including some beautiful nighttime pics with the castle and Spaceship Earth lit up. My brother spent the whole week ripping on the photopass and talking about how his camera was equal to theirs. Well, once he saw the pictures, he started complaining about how they weren't as big as his, but he was impressed by the quality. The CM at EPCOT's camera center told me the pictures are designed to be printed in 8x10. You can go slightly bigger if you'd like, but 8x10 and lower is great. I'll post some pics later after I get settled back into the real world :sad2:.

They did not offer the cd when we were there last year, can you include the pictures you get taken on the rides or at Chef Mickey? Do you purchase or sign up on day one? I love pictures and I scrap so this is Fantasmic!!! :cool1: :cheer2:

I know for photos of ride and pics at restaurants, you cannot add that to the photopass. I hope that changes by the time of our trip in August. We used the photpass last year and liked it, but the CD was not available. Well worth it now especially to add the borders and icons. In the past I have spent over $150 or more on pictures so this CD will be a big SAVINGS!!! :goodvibes
