I have a couple I'm proud of....

A cotton boll from a field I pass every day...one day I stopped.

The clock on Beale Street in Memphis...it's always 12:00.

Lake Michigan from Shedd Aquarium...just a pretty view.

I have a pretty big problem getting my subjects straight, when I'm dealing with horizon lines in a picture; so I'm VERY happy the way this one came out.

And after some editing, I was REALLY pleased with this one. It was never meant to be "good", and I didn't want that woman in the shot at first. But after turning the color to sepia, and darkening it up a little, that woman "makes" the picture for me.

Haven't posted here before but when I saw this thread, I couldn't resist. This was taken at Ko Olina on Oahu with our Nikon D50. No corrections. BTW, this is where Disney is possibly building their DVC in Hawaii.

Thanks Joe. Actually they are scans of shots I took over 9 years ago, so unfortunately the quality of the original has lost quite a bit. I actually had to "touch up" quite a bit after scanning. There were a lot of white spots and scratches all over the originals.
I took them with a Mamiya ZM 35mm camera (with a standard 50mm lens). That was a really nice camera that lasted about 18 years. Unfortunately it finally broke down, and the cost of fixing it is just not worth it.
