So...as a follow up to my thread about whether or not MVMCP is worth it, we (I) have decided that we're going to give it a try. :woohoo: Money isn't that tight and even if it only means we get on some line-free rides for a few hours, it'll be worth it. :santa:

In addition, I think I have convinced DH to take a completely nuts drive to WDW for MNSSHP in October for our anniversary on 10/9. :lovestruc It'll probably be a little busy (it's a Friday) but we are going to drive down on Thursday, crash until party time on Friday and then leave on Saturday for the 17 hour drive home. You're only young once right? :upsidedow I think it'll be pretty neat spending our wedding anniversary watching HalloWishes, treat or treating around the MK and watching the parade.

So with these things in mind, I'd appreciate it if you would show me pics from any of the WDW hard ticket parties to get me pumped up. Fireworks, parades, decorations, snow on Main Street---I want to see it all! :hyper: :hyper:

From Halloween Night last year. :) I haven't proofed any of the photos from the parade yet, and my fireworks shots were from Liberty Square instead of the castle. I have a lot more, but they are pretty personal (pics of my family and such) so these are a few that didn't have any of us in them! :)

One of my fav's... I'm not sure if anyone else will like it, but something about it speaks to me. :)

Stage show - not much zoom though.

Terrible shot... but it was midnight, I had a sleeping toddler and a tired/cranky hubby in tow. He was tired of my photos...

Nice :thumbsup2 The colors on Main Street look really cool. Love the shot of the headstone as well as the "terrible shot" of the train station. The floating Mickey ghost thing is so cute!

MVMCP

I played with my Gorillapod, waiting for the parade to start:

And the Castle is red because they were playing Christmas music:

I think that sounds like a tiring but awesome idea. I want to go the MNSSHP sooo bad. I have never been to it. Uummmmmm ... if you need someone to help with the driving let me know :lmao::lmao: I am absolutely sure you would jump at the chance to take a complete stranger along with you to help celebrate your anniversary :dance3:

Ann - I just gotta say that I think you are completely NUTS!;) Driving from NJ to WDW for ONE DAY???? I'm jealous - I wish I had that kind of stamina!

Wow- That's great. What a marathon drive! We have only been to MNSSHP one time and it was the last day of a week long trip so we were all completely exhausted to start with. I was too tired to care much about pictures and scrapped plans to take the tripod- and then on top of things my battery died so I only got a few shots.

My little one slept through half of it. :rolleyes1

Now I understand why my DH rolled his eyes at me last night when I told him he will probably be wearing some sort of costume (if I had anything to do with it). I guess adults in costumes are "interesting" to say the least. :rotfl:

Yes, it sounds crazy, but just like something I would do! We did MVMCP last year, and will finally do MNSSHP this year.

Have a great time!
