I just wanted to give a shout out for the service I received when I called the Disney Dining phone line today. Our trip is in just 13 days!!
I have been checking several times a day online, hoping to snag a lunch reservation to Be Our Guest for our daughter's birthday. I practically jumped out of my chair when one FINALLY popped up. I kept clicking on the time, but the website was giving me an error message and kept telling me to try again. Frustrated and worried the time would slip away, I called the dining phone number. The woman who answered was very nice and as she was checking the system, I mentioned that I was worried I was getting the error because someone had clicked on it just before me and got the reservation first. She said that it was likely what happened, but that she saw another opening 30 minutes before that time and had already put a hold on it for me!
Talk about a lifesaver!
I thanked her profusely and told her how I had been trying to get a reservation for a birthday - she asked for my daughter's name and said she would put a special note in our reservation indicating the birthday. YAY!
So, I just wanted to give a shout out for great service and let everyone know, if you're trying to get a reservation, keep trying because one may just become available. And also, if you're having trouble with the dining site, give them a call because they're super helpful.
