Should we try Tusker House?

I cannot vote here because I have not ate at Flame Tree BBQ. And I want to really bad. We will in September. (I love me some ribs!)

Anyways, my last vacation we ate at Tusker House and I liked it a lot. I got a chicken salad. I'm not much of a salad person, but I did like it a lot. And it came with focacia (sp). And from that point on I love me some focacia. I really don't think that it would disappoint.

I am planning on going to Tusker House for lunch on the 15th of July. Never been there or Animal Kingdom so I am looking forward to it! I would go to Flame Tree but I need A/C!

I was looking at both never been to disney so was going by the boards and menus , but the a/c is callingalready Ithink they have mac & cheese too ffor DGS!

I've never been to Tusker House but it has to be better than Flame Tree. My whole family thought FT was just nasty. The food was dry and tasteless. It was the worst meal we had at WDW.

I think the Flame Tree is good just because of the setting (Jan or Oct for us, so I get the AC problem). But I think Tusker house is better food. I do miss the special they used to have of the skewered chicken kebabs with the green beans and rice. And my kids REALLY miss the "rainbow" bread. Do sit outside and listen to the entertainment if the weather is tolerable. They'll keep the kids happy while you sip a glass of wine.
