Should We Still Get a Physical Blue Card?

Hi all,

I am aware that the physical cards are gone as of 2022, but I expected them to still send us one since we signed up this year. Does it normally take a while, or is it likely they just stopped sending them already?

It is, 100000%, not necessary and I am well aware. Our first trip isn't even until February. This is more just a curiosity and it would be cool to have it since they won't be around any more. I know none of you know the inner workings of DVC as to if they are sending them, just curious more how long it generally took to get yours if you recall. We got our backpack last week, glad they are at least still sending those.

The new policy stated that as of Nov 2 new members would not receive a new blue card. People who bought before that maybe could still receive one but as this point I don't expect that they are making any more.

Even if you were able to get one, they expire in 3 days on 12-31-2021 so it would do no good.

I think they were asking more to keep it a a memento...

Thanks for the responses! I missed the note about November 2nd, so appreciate that confirmation. Yeah it would just be a memento, but since even then it would likely just get put in a drawer not the end of the world.
