We are thinking of going in October which the Food and Wine Festival will be going on. I have never been to the FW Festival. We were thinking of making reservations at Teppan Edo but then I read that you can get a lot of food with the samples around the World Showcase. If I read this right the samples are like $3.00 to $8.00 ? I dont know if we should eat at Teppan Edo or what ? Could someone explain exactly what goes on at the Food and Wine Festival and what I should do ? We probably wont be there all day long I guessing from 10:00 to 6:00.

Do you WANT to eat at Teppan Edo? How many days do you have at Epcot? Does the Food and Wine Festival interest you?

Even though we go during Food and Wine, we do have one night where we want a reservation for Via Napoli (since we are not going until next year) because we like it so much. That said, we also will have 3 full days at Epcot to give us time to enjoy the food and drink offerings around World Showcase. Ran out of room in our tummies last time!

We will only be the one day, yes I think it would fun to get samples but we also love Teppan Edo. Not sure what to do.

I guess it all depends on the type of eater you are. My fiance says I eat like a bird, and he doesn't stop until he clears his plate. (He's in for a huge surprise when I get around Disney food!). We made ADR's for there and I plan to sample a few things from Food and Wine, but I'm such a picky eater that I'm not too worried about it. I will probably choose a few things, have a couple bites and give the rest to him to eat. Unless it's too good and I don't want to share. He laughs at me all the time when we watch the Disney things on travel channel. I'm constantly saying, "and food". And he's constantly saying, "but you're a bird. I can't picture you eating down there!"

I would def. skip the ressies and hit up the food and wine festival!!! Check out the Disney Food Blog - you can see samples of what is offered - surely enough variety to satisfy any picky eater. If you are on the dining plan, use your snack credits to try samples. Have fun eating around the world!! :yay:
