We are doing MGM the first day we arrive to WDW and probably won't arrive at the park until 12 or 1. We have a handfull of must-sees: ToT, RnRC, Stunt Show, WWTBM, Fantasmic then other stuff as we have time Star Tours, Movie Ride, Muppets, etc. I was thinking to save food money (and just do CS this day) we would skip H&V buffet and get to Fantasmic at 8PM to get a seat. It's just us two so I figured we get there an hour early we can find 2 seats. I'm not too picky about where we sit just as long as we can see and aren't too close. Someone had mentioned though that since we have just 1/2 day, to do the Fantasmic Dinner so we can walk right into the theater half hour before. But then if we take an hour (at most) for dinner instead of just 20 minutes for a CS meal how would that save time? It's about the same loss of time. We current do have a H&V Fantasmic PS at 4:10PM.

I see that you just have you and DH listed in your Sig line. No kids? If not, I would skip the PS. We made one for Fantasmic, but only because it will be our last night of the trip and we want a good meal. DS5 will be tired and not wanting to stand in a line at the end of the day. If it weren't for that fact, it would be CS meal and DH and I standing in line.

Skip the dinner package. If you show up an hour ahead of time, you'll get great seats in the center section. And the "reserved" area isn't that great - it's off to the right.
