Should we do AK or HS two days?

Another fan of AK. Your 2.5 would love the train ride! Bugs life etc. The safari. Just being in the park with the animals is such a different experience you don't want to skip that. I like the calm of AK.

I wouldn't miss AK! Also HS doesn't take all day anymore, there isn't that much to do there to fill 2 days

For us, with what we like to do, AK is a half day park. Right now, there isn't enough there that we like to do to justify spending the money to go there. And, HS is roughly a one day park. But as always, YMMV.

If going an extra day to HS is what you like to do the best, then do it. But, if you would like to see AK this trip, go for that as well. Its your trip - do what makes you happy!
