Should we cancel our trip? Just found out I'm going to have a baby!

Congratulations and definetly GO!!!!!!

Just make it an easy going trip. Take lots of breaks and drink lots of water! Relax and have fun. It'll be nice to do a last getaway with DH before the baby comes.

I went to WDW when I was 6 months pregnant with my son, my daughter was about 19 months at the time.
It was a great trip, we took it a easier than normal, but we still went to the parks and had a great time, we just spent more time by the pool, hanging out..but honestly you might feel just fine.
Truly, besides having a huge stomach, LOL, and not getting comfy to sleep at night,I felt just as peppy as normal.
I was running around doing my normal thing up until the day I delivered with both kids.
I say GO!! :thumbsup2

Is this your first? If so, consider this -- it's a lot less tiring to go when pregnant than to go with an infant or toddler! :rotfl2:

Seriously, that sounds like a good time to take a "babymoon" -- your energy is up, the MS is (hopefully!) gone, and you're not uncomfortably huge. Go and have fun.

And CONGRATULATIONS! :thumbsup2

Congratulations!!!

Good luck with your decision!

If it were me, I would go. I spent my entire second pregnancy dreaming and planning my next Disney vacation. The result of which was our buying into DVC!

CONGRATULATIONS!

I went on a Disney Cruise and did some WDW in my second trimester. Not sure that'd I'd chance going in my third, though.

Good luck with your decision!

I agree that it is a perfect time to go, the second trimester is when you feel the best during the pregnancy and you will be just outside of that so you won't be uncomfortabley large. If this is your first you might not even be showing all that much at that point, some women with their first don't even get into maternity clothes until the third trimester. I know with my first I really wanted to wear a cute maternity outfit to Christmas dinner (baby was due in April) and it just swam on me. I wore it anyway though, LOL. If it gets to be too much for you to handle you can always take breaks or get a wheelchair for a bit. And I will agree with everyone that said it is way way way easier to go pregnant than to go with a toddler, enjoy it while you can! :thumbsup2

Best wishes for a healthy baby!

I also would vote for you to keep your plans and go.

All three of our sons visited WDW before they were born. :dance3: I would not go back and change anything if given the chance. All three were great trips. And I pretty much forgot about being pregnant.

Enjoy!

Congradulations and lots of pixiedust: coming your way. Go relax and enjoy. It'll be a while before you can do it again and you won't be alone anymore. It'll still be great fun to watch the little one though.

Congratulations!

Definitely go! I went at 7 months pregnant for our first trip home. Both my DH and I agree that of all our trips to WDW that one was the best (with the exception of DS first trip)! The weather was perfect all week :sunny: and we really slowed things down. We enjoyed BCV a lot that week and F&W Fest was going on at Epcot. We loved it. In the evenings DH would get in the hot tub by the pool and I would sit on the steps and put my feet in and soothe my feet and ankles. :teeth:

Ask your Doctor what he or she thinks. I would plan on not going, but thats just me. If you do decide to go, have a good time and please take it easy.

Good Luck........

Oh, get all the sleep you can now.

We were in the same situation as you and I really wanted to go to Disney.

The difference is we are expecting twins and it is a higher risk type preganancy.

I asked the Dr for her adivce and she recommended us to go however I just didn't feel right about it because being from Canada, the insurance situation if the babies are born is very different.

If this was not a twin pregnancy and all was good and I had my Dr's approval, I definately would go!!

Just take it at an easy pace, drink tons of water and most of all, have fun!!

You should deffinately go [imho] as long as all is going well. Walking is a great thing to do when your pregnant and if you tire out there's always the lovely resort to go home to. Congrats on the up coming arrival. You'll have many wonderful years of sharing disney with your little one. :goodvibes

I think as long as you're feeling well and your OBGYN gives you his/her blessing, then go and enjoy!

I've done a Disney Cruise and WDW while into my 2nd trimester and it as great! There's nothing better than being able to eat as much as you want because you have the nice maternity pants to expand with you! :)

Be sure to drink plenty and get a lot of rest.
