Should we (can we) do the Magical Gathering?

We're heading to WDW the last week of September and there are (as of right now) 13 of us staying at POP. Are there any advantages to doing a Magical Gathering?

imho, you should sign-up for a Grand Gathering through the Grand Gathering office...

1) They will try to have all your rooms together if you are staying at one hotel
2) You are eligible for Grand Gatherings like my personal favorite, a fireworks cruise from the Contemporary hotel...you see Wishes from the lake and are escorted by a Pirate and met by Peter Pan and Tink (well, she is in a latern!) when you return...

Go to the Disney Website and keyword search Grand Gathering and look at all the options...You can only do these if you are set up as a Grand Gathering....
You also need a minimum of 8 in your party to participate in the special excursions....

It was definitely one of the hightlights of our August Trip!!!!
