By requiring people to buy insurance that is rarely used, they don't have to raise rates a penny to see their profits soar. So they can drop rates and clean up. Just common sense.Because they will be able to charge more, because everyone will have to get a policy.
They certainly won't give away money by dropping rates. They're in business to increase their profits, not give them away.
