I'm a teacher...and this is a BAD idea! My students are K-6, so I don't have any issues there really...but I work a summer camp with high schoolers, and I get lots of requests from them. The ONLY situation I see where this may be okay is if they are out of high school...even then, you must be careful of what others might post on your wall.
A friend of mine from college is a high school teacher and sponsor of her school's dance team. She has posted pictures of the girls all over facebook...but in plain view of all of her college aged male friends. Knowing them, some are not the smartest, and I can see them making an inappropriate comment about the girls in their skimpy dance uniforms...I just see a LOT of issues that may come up. I truly hope nothing does, but I think she made some really poor choices.
