Should I wait list?!

I'm completely torn! DH and I will be taking our second trip without the kids to WDW Oct 18th - 23rd! We are both very excited about the trip!

When I booked the trip DH insisted we have a 1 bedroom, not sure why. I didn't argue because I was just glad he agreed to the trip! We ended up with SSR because that it what was available!

I really love to stay somewhere else! We stayed at SSR last Oct and really loved it but we've stayed there and would like to try something else.

Originally, I wanted to stay at BWV but I don't think that's going to happen 2 months out during F&W!

I'd love to be able to surprise DH with a stay at BLT or AKV! AKV is our home resort. We have stayed there but are so completely in love with Kidani we'd stay there anytime!

Anyway, after this long, rambling post, I'm wondering if it's worth it to wait list for BLT or AKV or should I just leave well enough alone!

I've never wait listed before!

If you really want to try something else, go ahead and put in the wait list. There is no harm in doing so and if it comes through, you will be someplace new! You are only allowed two wait lists per UY so you will have to be specific of what you want. For example, a 1 bedroom at Kidani would be a different WL than a 1 bedroom at Jambo. Since AKV is the bigger resort, I think you have a better shot for one of those than BLT and might phrase my wait list that way.

I might also then call periodically to see if one of the other views that you can't wait list for opens up (or the other resort).

If you have the points, I think you have nothing to lose by waitlisting and you have the chance of making a your trip be a little more special.

We are at WDW the exact same time you are and at SSR too! We have a grand villa and are wait listed at AKV just on the off chance that one opens up. We will be happy with SSR (since we will be at WDW can you really be unhappy?)...but we would really love to be at AKV. I say wait list....what have you got to lose?
