Should I upgrade to BC CL?

We have reservations for 4/4-4/8 at the Beach Club. Concierge rooms are available for that time period. Should I upgrade? We have never stayed concierge. The price for the upgrade is reasonable.

If it's reasonable I would go for it. We had it last year when we had a deluxe room there. You have to ask for soda and bottled water though. They had a pretty good breakfast offerings and snacks at night. I didn't like that they would close it at certain times of the day - and kind of stare at you when it was getting close to closing time.
I would do again if it was reasonable - but not if it's a LOT more. It did save us on breakfast every morning.

For us, it was worth it this past summer. Breakfast alone for a family of 5 at Disney is pricey, and I liked that we could get fruit as well as continental breakfast fare. Went to Disney again this weekend (non-CL) and it cost us over $35 for SIMPLE breakfast items. We did not do CL breakfast every day, but it was a convenient option.

We also enjoyed the cordials and desserts several nights, but again, we did not feel compelled to plan our schedule around the lounge hours just to "get our money's worth".

We also used the Epcot IPO staff services extensively for scheduling (and rescheduling!) PSs, including CRT, and pre-purchasing in-room gifts. Can't say enough good things about the pre-planning staff -- we're going back next summer and can't wait to work with them again! :cool1:

I'm planning to go in February, but can't get availability at Boardwalk Inn/Villas. Was thinking about BC, but don't know if it's too noisy.

Please advise.

Thanks,

I've never been to WDW in February so it's hard for me to speculate on your time of year. If your dates fall within "Presidents Week", then I would expect a lot of families.

We were at the BC last August and it was the pool area that was crowded with families (not surprisingly!); the lobby seemed fine; our floor was very quiet (5th floor, concierge -- not sure if that made a difference).

We were at WDW this past weekend for a pre-Christmas visit and scheduled a Sunday breakfast at Cape May. The lobby was an absolute mob scene! Lots of families with kids as you would expect in a location that has a character breakfast. The pool area was quiet though as it was unseasonably chilly. In all fairness, we visited the BWI to see the Christmas decorations that day and the lobby there too was bustling! It seems that early December is no longer "the quiet time of year"!
