Should I try switching to Poly or Movies??

I originally had us at the movies, but when I added days to our trip I had to switch to Sports. I am less than thrilled about it and have decided to try for Movies again every few days. BUT... I am intrigued by Pop Century. Is it better than allstars. I know it has a dedicated bus, but does that really mean that it's a shorter wait & faster service??

Also - the resort looks huge, what if we get in a "crappy" area. No offense but I don't want to be in the 20's buildings for example!! My kids are 2, 4 and 13 if anyone thinks that makes a big difference.

Any input is really needed.

Thanks~!

If you're choosing between the Poly and Movies I'd choose the Poly in a HEARTBEAT!!!

I got confused by your post. :confused3 DH and I stayed at ASMo last trip and LOVED IT! It totally served our needs and never had any problems at all. When we went I was dreading the "gaudy" characters everywhere, but honestly it just extended our magical experience!

We're trying POP for our upcoming Oct trip and I"m very much looking forward to it!!

Your *title* confused me too! (you might want to fix it!!) Pop is a very nice *Value*. You mentioned the 20's -- the only decades that are open are the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's. The 60's are the "preferred" rooms but the 50's and 70's are actually better choices - cost less and they're just as close to the food court and buses. The bus service is dedicated to Pop only but I don't think it's necessarily any faster than the other Values' buses. :confused3

OKAY - MEANT Pop Century - not Poly. I'm an idiot today. ( I wish I could stay at Poly ha ha).

We like the Pop better than the all stars. I dont think the walk is bad at all from most buildings. The one advantage to having the bus for the one resort only is that when we go over New Year and the park is packed , the buses arent full when they get to you and you dont have to ride to multiple resorts.
Another advantage also is you can see the fireworks from MGM.
