My 6yr old is desperate to go to Discovery cove but I also have a 11 month old baby and was wondering if they allow babies in the water with baby floats? I really would like to take him in the water rather than just pass him off with Hubby all the time...we have a pool at home which he loves and I know if he seen my 6yr old in the water he will go crazy to get in. I would not be doing the dolphin encounter with the baby, just the other stuff.
I would love your advice please. Its such a lot of money out of our tight budget I would really like to know what our options are. Thank you.

You'd be able to take your 11mth old into the warmer pool, which is quite spacious and should be allowed to take floatation aids into the water with, as there's no fish or marine life in this pool at all.

I wouldn't think it would be wise to take a child so young into the colder pools anyway, alongside the dangers of upsetting the animals, I think it would be too cool for your little one.

You'd only need to pay for a dolphin swim for your 6yr old and accompanying adult, the adult not doing the swim will pay general admission price. I don't know if the baby would be free? I'm sure it would tell you on the official DC website though.

I am not sure of the infant price, but if your 6 year old really wants to do it, I would say go for it. It will be 5+ years before your new baby can do it, so take the opportunity while your 6 year old is wanting and make a great memory. You can try plugging the info in the site and see what price you come up with, they have a spot to put in children under age 3.

I'm taking my toddler. I called and they said little guys have a great time there. They can do anything you feel comfortable with them doing, except for the dolphin encounter. Infants/Toddlers are allowed in the water anywhere across Discovery Cove except the dolphin area.

They also said they have sand toys for the children to play with on the beach when they get tired. Don't forget snacks and drinks all day for the kids are included!!

Also, when you make your reservation, ask for a stroller. They said they have some sort of a stroller that goes over the sand...included, of course.
