Hi Everyone! I had a few questions. I am going to Universal and WDW the end of august. Right now here is how my hotel situation looks:

2 nights at DTD Marriott at $20.02 a night. 3 nights at the Radisson outside Universal (Free from goldpoints.com), 4 nights at the Caribbean beach and 3 nights at the Wilderness Lodge. My husband is already ready to shoot me because of all the switching but it was he best $$ way for me to go.

My question is after reading all about front of the line access if you stay at a universal hotel is should I book atleast one night at one? I was thinking about doing it Sun August 25.

Can you check in the hotel early in the am and get your room key? ( I know the room wont be ready) and on the day you check out can you also use the room key? We have a 5 day pass but will probably only do 3 days.. Sat, Sun and mon. I figure by atleast doing one night at a Universal Hotel we could use the pass to see any rides that were to long of a wait .

I hope that all made sense lol I found the Royal Pacific for $129 on expedia.com. Do you think the entertainment rate will be cheaper?

Thanks,

Lisa

Lisa... I'm with your husband... ;)

I used to switch alot also, but now I try to stay put because I HATE packing and unpacking! But you have some GREAT hotels there! Goody for you to get the 2002 deal at the Marriott, that was a great deal!

With all that said, I would book Royal Pacific NOW. The benefits of the Universal Express is worth every dime and the packing and unpacking. One night equals TWO entire days of UE at the parks. Yes, you can get your key early, and YES, you can use it on the entire day you check out.

Have a GREAT, though crazy, trip! :jester:

Thank You!

Another question? Do I call thehotel direct and ask for the entertainment rate?

Lisa R., The Royal Pacific Hotel phone number is 407-503-3000 or you can try 1-800-UESCAPE and see if they still have the ent. rate for $99.00.

If you have questions, call me at work. ;)

LOL sister in law Dora.. Does your job know you are on these board all day:)

Thanks...

ok, I called but the said they only had waterview for 199 a night.. go figure, Expedia.com has a regular room for $129

Should I take the expedia.com rate? Does this seem the best I will be able to get for this time?

PS. mickeyfan58 Don't mention this to brother in law.. its a suprise.

:p :p

 I do my job so good that they don't even notice that I am always on these board must of the day, getting all the information that I need and asking all the questions that I have. lol.:smooth:

I'm glad to see you got HRH, I was going to suggest it but you beat me to it. Have a great trip and I hope you put some days aside to rest up from your vacation, with all the moving you're going to need it! LOL! and I agree with Robinrs you got some great hotels! I'm trying the Royal Pacific at the end of July, but my heart will be at HRH unless RPH steals it away! Have a great time;)
