I have never printed my boarding passes from home.

do i really need to??

I just checked the flight online that leaves in 2 days and we are still confirmed and our seats are listed as well.

Is there any advantage to printing the boarding passes from home or should we just wait?? We have to check in all our luggage, so im guessing we have to go to ticket counter anyways?

Flight is on america west if that makes any difference.

I like to print them from home when I have the option, even if I"m checking luggage and not flying SW. I don't know why, it just reassures me somehow.

I like to print from home also. If I need to change seats or just to confirm my seat is available. No surprises when I get to the airport.

Yep, I also print mine at home, even if checking luggage. With DL, you can go to kiosk and scan your home printed boarding pass, select how many bags your checking. Attendent wil bring you tags, check ID and your off to security line. It's faster and like saftymom said you can change/confirm seats. America West should be same because dh flew USAir (merged with AW) and it was set up like DL.
