With CBR currently undergoing large renovations, in your opinion, is it worth paying approx. $25 per night more to stay at Port Orleans FQ/Riverside instead?

Normally I would say no way. But with the large scale construction project happening, I have to say yes.
I am one of CBR's biggest fans but I would not stay there with the construction unless there was a major discount. We arent even considering CBR for our 2018 trip which breaks my heart, but I figure it gives me the chance to try something new.

I totally would put up with the construction if they were still giving out gift cards! haha. Unfortunately I don't think they are doing that anymore? (correct me if I am wrong...)I will just say that I wouldn't be staying ast CBR if the Mickster wasn't going to hand me a $600.00 GC on arrival!![]()
Yes,the GC ship has sailed unfortunately.Unfortunately I don't think they are doing that anymore? (correct me if I am wrong...)

Then why not a value instead? They are quite a bit cheaper, and the bus service will be easier (fewer stops).I'm going against the grain here and saying yes, I'd save the money. I have no small kids (grown son) we rarely use the food courts, we eat all our meals in the parks and mostly TS. A room is a room for us, as long as the pool is functioning, I have coffee and can maybe grab something quick for breakfast, we are good. The noise wouldn't bother us, my son is partially hard of hearing and if we are at the resort during the day, it's at the pool.

I feel the same way. Won't bother me in the slightest. I switched to stay there to gain the GCI'm going against the grain here and saying yes, I'd save the money. Because Value resorts are very uncomfortable. Beds, linens, even the toilet paper, are different. We stayed in 1 once and had the worse bus service of all. Never againThen why not a value instead? They are quite a bit cheaper, and the bus service will be easier (fewer stops).
The lusher grounds might not be as much of a factor.Bigger room
Queen beds
Double sinks
Coffee maker in room
Ceiling fans
Hot tubs
Pool slides
Multiple covered bus stops
Lusher grounds
Laid back relaxed atmosphere
