Should I or should'nt I ???????????

For all who are going in 2014 I usually go late August (last 2 weeks) well looking at Free dinning this year, when the time comes to book my trip in August for 2014 should I book it for the first two weeks in August mirroring the RO deal or book it the last two weeks holding out for the return of free dinning for late August??????? My think is that I heard that the reason (one of them ) is that there are conventions the last two weeks so Disney Does not have to worry about booking rooms.............Oh what should I do

If you want to plan ahead - You'll never be able to know exactly what you're getting.

Which hotel will you be staying? IMO, RO discounts are not worth it for Values...and sometimes Moderates as well. But it is a big discount with Deluxes.

No way would I go in early August - when the crowds are higher, just for a SMALL discount if I was going to stay in a Value. I would intead pay a bit more but go during late August to take advantage of lower crowds.

IMO, discounts are going to be WAY different next year. My GUESS (not educated at all) is that Magicplus and Fastpassplus are going to start filling the onsite rooms due to more perks (ie: more fastpasses) for staying onsite, and then Disney won't have to offer discounts.

So I wouldn't make a prediction based on anticipated discounts..I would just plan it whenever it's the most convenient for you.

Book when you want to go, where you want to stay that is in your budget. Then budget accordingly.
If and when Disney does offer any type of discount, its a bonus!! Use it for extras in your trip: BBB, a dining plan (if you do not get FD), a fireworks cruise, etc.
