Should I make ADR's?

I'll be solo for my first trip to DL the first of October. I'll be there on business, but since I'm staying at the Disneyland Hotel, I'll be eating either at my hotel or DTD each night. Since I'm solo, should I make ADR's or should I be able to get seating in reasonable times at that time of year?

It is always a good idea to make priority seating if you know when & where you want to eat.

Keep in mind, a party of 1 will still need a table for 2. Places in DTD will have a bar you can eat at so no worries, but in the parks you might want to make a PS or two. BTW, DLR calls them PS's or Priority Seatings, not ADR's as they are at WDW.

You could just to have someplace but you won't be going during high season so if you don't want to you should still be okay. But it is nice to walk up while others are waiting to be seated and only wait 5 min. or so.

Thanks. I didn't realize they were called something different. That's good to know. Even though I'm a rookie, I wanna' sound like I know what I'm talking about! lol.

While I'm in the parks, I'll probably just eat counter service because I will be trying to do both parks in the one free day I've got. As for the nights I eat at my hotel or DTD, I felt like I'd be ok just walking up and getting a table. I don't drink, but I don't mind sitting at the bar if that gets me in faster.

We once tried to eat at the Rainforest Cafe in DTD in Orlando and there was almost a 2 hour wait. When I told them we couldn't wait that long, they sat us immediately by the bar (and we had a party of 8!). I just love the atmosphere and food. I travel alot and I'm used to eating room service and at the hotel restaurant so this will be a treat for me!
