Should I let Her Miss a Week of School?

My DH just told me "they" are trying to get school dates changed for the kids to start the beginning of August.
Right now "they" have a law that school can't start before Aug25, so we booked our trip the week before school is/was suppose to start. Also, I did not want to have to fool with missed work, or writing reports! He(DH) didn't want DGD to miss school. Now it looks like I may be taking DGD out of school to go!

To me part of it would depend on how old she is. But also being as stuborn as I am, I'd probably just go with the original plans, since they decided to change things.

If it's a "law" right now, I doubt if it would be changed to effect this coming August. I would imagine it wouldn't take effect until 2008. Just a thought.

That's what my Dh told me today! So, we will be fine for this trip, thankgoodness.
