Should I hold out?

I am looking into booking our trip for the last week of Sept. at SSR, but we only want to stay in a treehouse villa because of how many of us there are. When I called for the special rate (40% off) the cm told me there was no more THV at that rate but I could get one for full price at that time. Then she said the Sept specials are not out yet so I don't know if that means I should hold out for a deal or what since there is only 60 of them and I dont want them to all book up??? I dont know what to do, I keep getting pins for May but nothing for Sept.

There is no good answer for you at this time, other than to suggest that you keep checking back as often as you can.

Have you looked into renting points from a DVC member? I'm not sure what DVC availability would be since it's only 8 months out now (DVC owners can book them at 11 months) but it would be cheaper than paying rack rate.

There is an entire board here for DVC with rent/trade points availability.

I'm all confused about the DVC points. I dont know what to do to rent them, lol. I need help understanding them.
