Should I give up and use the pin?

I have been holding out in hopes that 4/3 will be extended through my travel dates May 22-29. I received a pin for 35% off but the 4/3 would save me another $160. I am 2 weeks out from the 180 day ADR deadline which is key since we would like to go to CRT and having a ressie will give me an edge snagging that ADR. I'm also concerned that the preferred rooms I want at CBR won't be available. Should I give up waiting on the extension of 4/3? Any new info on if/when an extension might happen?

I would go ahead and book with your PIN, and then if the 4/3 gets extended, call in and change the reservation. I went from rack rate to adding a PIN, but I'm still hoping for a room only to come out for March, that might get me an even better deal.

At least you will have a ressie to tie those ADR's to. And if it isn't an extension of the 4/3, then I'm sure something else will come out that will be comparable. Never a reason to Disney rack rate, IMO. You just need to know to watch for the deals.
