Even if we were to only break even, I like the convenience of having everything paid up front and not having to tell my 13 yr old that no she can't have prime rib 3 nights in a row (she can and is planning on it!)...She can eat whatever she wants, apps included, dessert included...My 9 year old is perfectly happy eating chicken nuggets and hot dogs the entire time
We coming early on arrival and late on departure day so we can stretch it out and make those 4 days worth of credits last 5 full days. We're only doing 1 signature dinner (CRT). This is how we're using it:
Day 1 (arrive around noon)
Lunch: Sci Fi
Dinner: Primetime Cafe
Day 2
Breakfast: Crystal Palace
Dinner:??? (Don't know where we'll be..I think DD is competing at Wide World of Sports this night)
Day 3
Breakfast: Chef Mickey's
Dinner: Cinderella's Royal Table
Day 4
Breakfast: Kona Cafe
Dinner: Le Cellier
Day 5 (depart for airport around 6:30-7:00PM)
Lunch: Yak and Yeti
Dinner: 1900 Park Fare
At the moment, I only have 2 credits unaccounted for but I'm sure we'll use them for the missing dinner, lunch around the world showcase or breakfast on our last day (although it will probably be the resort food court..can't take the time for a sit down meal and mess with our EE time..going to ride it as many times as we can during the EMH

)...snack credits will be used to keep my 13 yr old from starving between breakfast and dinner (and maybe to bring back some treats for Dad and little brother and sister who can't come on this trip)
I have to admit, if I were trying to use these all in 4 days instead of 5, I'd have to find more signature meals to try...
The cost for us for the deluxe dining plan for 4 nights is $639.88. The cost of the meals/snacks I have planned at the moment is $809.03 (I assumed $4 per snack). It doesn't include the cost of the 3 mugs we'll be getting as well...so add another $40..Looks like we're already saving about $210 and I still have 2 credits left to play with!
So is it worth it in terms of cost? It appears that way. Worth it in terms of convenience..you betcha!
