I'm going to HOJOs and need an entertainment card. I'll be spending time their and then going to San Diego for 5 days. Which area should I order one from? Any advice? Thanks!

Order one from the area where you live. That way you have almost a whole year to use the coupons near your hometown.

I live in Bozeman, MT so there isn't anything around here I could use it for unfortunately. Basically, I'm just buying the book for HOJOs.

You know I was thinking about that. There isn't a HOJO's here either. I was wondering if the HOJO's coupon is in all of them or what.:goodvibes

Then just get the cheapest. Unless you're planning to seek out small and obscure coffee shops or Dennys, etc, in the areas, there's no need to get the spendier southern CA books. :)

buy a local book, they are running around $15 and then you can keep the card for your hotels etc, and give the book to a local on the way home :-)

Don't buy a book at all. Since we won't use the book much we decided to just do a card buy off eBay. I just got mine today, paid $3.00 for it on Sunday. They shipped the next day and I had NO problems registering it. Let me know if you want the sellers name, I'm sure they have more of them.

Which local book is running for $15? Wow! The OC and SD ones were $25, I think. There was a Utah and Las Vegas for $16, so I could just do that.

I'd be nervous about the Ebay one, but I shouldn't be because someone off these boards sent me the card last year. I'll just buy a book this year though. Thanks for the suggestion.

I was nervous too, but I figured what the heck. If it was a bust I'd be out $3.00, not that bad IMO. So I did it and I'm happy I did. Like I said, we didn't use our book last year but we did use the card for the HoJo, we used that card a LOT for the HoJo. LOL I did the registration thing before I left feedback, just in case but it worked out great. :)

South Puget Sound's book is 16.25 right now, I think.

kaoden39, it's not a coupon at all for the HoJo Anaheim deal. You just need the card from the book to show at check-in. ANY current-for-when-you-check-in entertainment book card works, even the New Zealand book card, we've recently heard here. :)

There used to be a HoJo, up on the hill where you get on 80E next to the Arco....not really a hill, more like a bump in the road. LOL But ya, there was a HoJo there, now it's just an empty building and maybe the building is now gone too. Anyway, like Molly said, no coupon, just show the card at check in and get that super cool rate. :)

Cool. Thank you.

I remember when they were open. I grew up here, I went there a total of like two times. Is it any wonder they went out of business? Nobody wanted to go there, bad location.
