Should I get 2 day hopper tickets or 2 day 1 park tickets?

Hello all we will be in Disneyland on June 5th and 7th. I know the 7th is a grad night so I'm torn between getting my family 2 day park hopper tickets or 2 single park day tickets? I plan on doing Disneyland on the 5th then doing California adventure on the 7th. I was thinking of hopping over to Disneyland once the grads started showing up in DCA but it's almost 300 more for my family to get park hopper. I just want to make sure it's worth the money to get the park hoppers. Thanks

I think with only 2 park days you'd be fine doing 1 park per day. It may be a better value to spend the savings on a special experience, like WOC dessert party or MSEP preferred parade viewing than hopping at the end of the last day.

I have mixed feelings about park hoppers on such a short trip. For my family, we always park hop, so it felt very weird to not park hop on my last trip. I went down for two days and the group I was with did not have hoppers so we did one park per day. They had a great time and didn't feel at all constrained by not being able to hop. So, if you were going for longer, I'd be more inclined to recommend hoppers, but for such a short trip, it will probably fine to stick to one park per day.

We have done park hoppers on our last 3 trips. We did 2 2day hoppers and one 3 day hoppers. We loved being able to go back and forth for various shows, parade and fireworks. Our next trip will be Dec. 1-4 and we are definetly getting hoppers due to the parks being crowded that weekend.

We are also going for just two days, but I decided to go for the hoppers. We'll see if that was wise or not after our trip :scratchin We are usually stay-up-late kinds of people (mid-30s no kids), and since DCA closes at 10 and DL at midnight, if anything we'll most likely parkhop for the late evening on our DCA day. If we're not already too tired and cranky

There is enough to do in each park to stay the whole day. I would start off with one park per day and add on hoppers if you feel you need them when you are there on day 2.

Thanks guys, after talking with my husband and my kids we decided to do one park per day. We arrive on Sunday the 4th so we decided to have dinner at goofys kitchen that night that way we can get the character interactions out of the way and hopefully that will get my hubby into the Disney mood for the next day lol. I hope I don't regret this decision but I think there's enough stuff in DCA to keep us busy all day.

Back in April I spent 12 hours in DCA alone and didn't come close to doing everything. I have an annual pass and it's nice to be able to hop back and forth but sometimes I don't hop at all. You will be fine without hoppers.

Another vote for 1 park a day. With only 2 days, you'll want to maximize your day inside each park and some time is lost in hopping and we've lost the ability to hold FP in each park so there's no gain there anymore.

I really love the freedom to hop, so I recommend it, even on a shorter trip if it's in the budget. However, lots of people make one park, one day work. There is certainly enough to do in either park. Either way it's Disney fun all day long!

We always buy hoppers but we go for 5 days. If I only had 2 I'd just get the single park per day ticket. I wouldn't be able to justify the expense
