Should I do DL on a Monday or Soak City on Thurs?

We will be staying at HOJOs in late June. We're going to be there for 4 full days, Mon-Thurs. We'll have 3-day park hoppers and then we also want to go to Soak City on one of the days. Should we do DL/DCA Mon, Tues, Wed and then go to Soak City Thurs? Or do Soak City Monday and then DL/DCA T-TH? I guess what I'm wondering is whether MOndays are more crowded than Thursdays in the summer. I think my kids are going to be too excited to not start at DL, but wondered what you all thought. Thursday typically tends to be one of the slower days, so we would end at DL. But that's been our experience & our suggestion. Since I don't know where Soak City is, would it be out of the question to break up your days at DL & put Soak City in the middle somewhere? You don't have to use your tickets 3 days in a row....there's a window of a couple weeks (I think) from the first time you use your ticket to use the other days. Just a thought!!

Well I've never done Soak City so take this with a grain of salt but to be honest, I wouldn't do it at all. I'd just stay at the HoJo and go to the pirate play area and the pool. My girls love that pirate area, they spent all of one Saturday there last July and loved it!

If you must do SC, I would do it on Thursday. If you've ever done WDW and done TL or BB you will be very disappointed in SC. We were! We've done the one in Palm Springs (horrible) and the one in Buena Park (a small improvement over PS). Neither park has any themeing (unless concrete is a theme ). The rides are okay. The lazy river is a joke. Don't even think about going in the river without a tube. And if it's crowded you will have to buy a tube to use.!

Be prepared though for SC to be crowded anytime in the Summer, especially later in the afternoon when the price drops. Also, June isn't always very warm here so have a back up plan in case it's too gloomy. Also, just so you know, food and drinks are very expensive (way more than Disney $$) and not very good. If you can, go to SC, maybe sneak in some snacks, and then go to Fat Burger which is located to the East of SC, on La Palma. As you leave SC parking lot it's right there. Better food, better prices.

hi there, on our trip in sept 06 we did knotts soak city and had an absolute blast.....we wish we could have done it at least twice, i highly recommend it..m ..we did it on a sunday and the morning it was almost empty...I think either monday or thursday are usually a little quieter at DL,so either day you would be fine....have fun, i am jealous as we want to go back to soak city on our trip coming up, but it isnt open the beginning of may....
