I leave in 33 days!:cool1: Should I call Disney Dining at confirm all of my ADRs? I have the confirmation numbers they gave me...is this what I bring to the resturaunt? I have always done counter service:rolleyes1 so the ADR thing is new to me! Thanks for your help...:)

You will get different opinions on confirming your ADR's here on the DIS. Many do, many don't
Personally I do NOT. As long as I have my confirmation number which I bring with me, I have never had a problem. Each time a CM opens your account there is the possibility to introduce error. That is why I do not.
Have a Great Trip.

YES!

First, I leave in 32 days, see you when you get there :goodvibes

Second, I debated as well, but last week found myself worrying about it again and decided I should just call.

I called and asked the CM if she could verify my ADR's and she was very nice about it and said "Sure, no problem". She asked me for my phone number and then read them off in order starting with the very first one.

We discovered that I had the time wrong for one of them (I wrote down 6:45 it was actually 6:35) which was probably not a big deal, but we also discovered one of them was on the wrong date. I'm not sure who made the mistake, me or the original CM, but luckily the same resturant was available on the date I needed at the same time (for a table of 8, another sign the parks really won't be that crowded during this week)

All in all it took 5 minutes to review the whole list, a couple minutes to book the new reservation and I'm no longer worried that I'll show up for an ADR that doesn't exist.

So I say, yes, just call and then you won't worry about it anymore. You can worry about more imporant things like packing :rotfl:

I am SO glad to hear that you had no problem getting a table for 8. The boards have been buzzing about the first week of May.:scared1:I have only traveled in the summer months previously though so I say "bring on the crowds!":rotfl2:

I think I may confirm my adrs just in case. I am a worry wart! :scared:

I would. A couple of years ago during for our early November trip all my ADR's were deleted on accident. I called a week prior to check for a later Fantasmic and the CM noticed all the ADR's were gone. We were very fortunate that I was able to get everything except LeCellier.

I am also a worry wart, so I always confirm my ADRs about a month out. My family has been to WDW quite a few times, they know where they want to eat and I would feel bad to disappoint them because I trusted that I or someone at Disney wrote everything down correctly.

I always do...I figure it can't hurt and I may find a problem that I can deal with before I'm on vacation. :)

It can never hurt to confirm, especially if it will make you feel better.:goodvibes

If you're on here asking whether you should or not, you should. Obviously you are worrying about it so just help yourself out and call to confirm.

I did it last year and like PP, it only took about 5 minutes. The CM I talked to also just read them off for me, even though I made ADRs under two different numbers (whoops), it was easy.

I check them once. Anymore than that you are asking for trouble. The more the cms open up your adrs to check them, the higher chance of someone in disney dining screwing them up.So I check on them about 30 days before, and make sure you have your conf # handy with you when you go to the restaurant

I called and checked and everything is in order.:) I have my confirmation numbers written on index cards that I can just pull out when needed.

I called today to confirm all my ADR. The CM just listed them all off and they were all correct! :)

Same exact way I feel. The more times the information is accessed, the greater the chance that it will get messed up. What we do is, upon check-in, have the Concierge Desk print us out a list of our ADRs for the entire trip. If something isn't right, we fix it then. Example: Last year they somehow booked us for tea at the Grand Floridian three different times, two of which were on the same day! :rotfl: Needless to say, the mystery extra two got canceled immediately.

hmmm... that's tough question... But I can tell you my last 2 experiences. I normally don't call again. But I do have concierge print out my ADRs when I arrive at the resort. However, I can tell you on my trip during New Years' my ADR for California Grill was on the wrong day. It was on an evening the night after we checked out. So, obviously we could not make the new time. This really bummed me out because all other times during that week were completely booked. Now, last November, Thanksgiving week we had Fantasmic scheduled at the Hollywood Brown Derby. However, when I had the ADRs printed out it was booked at Hollywood and Vine. I was very disappointed and cancelled my reservations. I think, all ADRs should be sent to you via e-mail so you can verify and double check. I'm also with everyone else in the more times an agent opens your account the greater the chance your dining reservations can be messed with. However, I do see the other side of the coin. We do travel exclusively during prime time and there isn't always the flexiblity to change dates or times, etc... It seems like a Catch 22...

I usually check them once about 4-8 weeks prior to the trip and usually when I'm calling about something else (like to add another ADR or this time it was when I called to add the princess mini-cake).

I'm of this school of thought.

BTW, when we did have a reservation on the wrong day, the hostess managed to slip us in saying that Disney Dining probably likely booked us wrong. I had the confirmation numbers and the excel spreadsheet with where ten people were supposed to be when and the hostess looked at the spreadsheet, looked at me and said "this one wasn't your mistake."
