since Im visually impaired finding my luggage on the carousel would be more difficult than you may think.
Its within the carry on guidelines.
It is a rolling duffel so I dont know how well it would fair as checked luggage.
Im having a hard time fitting my essential liquids in the 1 quart size baggie. (well they fit and the top does close and the baggie is not BULDGING but it does look cluttered and since Ive never tried to put that much into the baggie and make it past security Im worried that they will make me take stuff out)
But I can toss some of the liquids before heading home so there will be enough room in the liquids baggie for what I do need to bring home.
All of the liquids are within the guidelines so it would not be a problem in a carry on.
Since it could take a few hours for my luggage to get to my room I would definitely take a personal item on the plane with my absolute essentials that I may need before my luggage arrives like sunscreen, medications, a hat, and anything else Ill need to go to the parks.
Also I would consider shipping toiletries BUT it is only me going and only for a few days so it seems silly to do in my case. Now if my whole family was going and only wanted to do carry on luggage Id find that to be more worth doing so please do not suggest that.
