57 people on this message board have signed a thread indicating they used the 40% off code... and those 57 people are spread between ALL the weeks of the promo that were available this year.
Of the 57 people who posted. Exactly 2 have listed travel dates that match yours. Hardly an avalanche.
While it is true that thread doesn't take into account those who received the postcard or email for the same discount... or ANY of the people who don't belong to this message board or care to post their trip details.... you should still think about these facts..
The weeks that are featured in that 40% promo are weeks that are considered 'low traffic' at Disney to start with.. That's why they were discounted.. trying to get some bodies in the hotels and parks.
Honestly and truly.. the number of rooms booked using that promo
during your week could be 3000 and you would NOT notice any difference.
Some Quick Math:
3000 rooms (avg 3 people per room) .. 9000 people.. / 4 parks.. 2333 or so extra bodies in any given park on any given day. And that's assuming none of those 2333 people decide to spend a given day at Downtown Disney, by the pool at their resort, at a Waterpark or elsewhere in Orlando.
In fact,
5000 people could show up at the Magic Kingdom
on the exact same day you decide to go there... and you STILL wouldn't notice the difference, since the Magic Kingdom capacity is WAY higher than 5000 people.. like at least 10 times that figure... or more.. it's really nothing to worry about.
You are worrying for nothing.. Relax.. and have a GREAT trip!

PS> There is one way to figure out if Disney thinks the crowds will be bigger or not.. and that's too look at the park opening and closing times. If Disney expects way larger crowds than they had originally expected.. they will lengthen the park hours. That almost never happens. They have this down a science.
